DruidLab

Software for work that has to be right.

Druid Lab is a software and AI studio. We design, build and run platforms for legal, compliance and professional-services teams — and we stay accountable for them in production.

Three disciplines, one senior team.

What we do

Product engineering

Full product design and build — TypeScript, React and Node on PostgreSQL, shipped to infrastructure we operate ourselves. The same people take the work from first whiteboard to production.

Applied AI

Assistants, document intelligence and agent workflows built on frontier models, with the guardrails regulated work demands. AI where it earns its place — and nowhere it doesn’t.

Technology advisory

Fractional CTO and AI advisory for boards and leadership teams: architecture reviews, roadmaps, procurement and due-diligence support, delivered in plain language.

Built here. Run here.

Products

Practix

Legal practice management

Matter management, time and billing, and trust accounting for New Zealand law firms — built with working lawyers, not around them.

The next one

Your platform

If your team runs on spreadsheets, e-mail threads and a legacy system nobody will touch, that’s usually where we start.

How we work

1

Senior people only.

The person you brief writes the code.

2

We run what we build.

Our products live on infrastructure we operate and monitor.

3

Plain language.

Honest scope, honest estimates, no surprises.

4

NZ-owned.

Wellington-based, working across Aotearoa.

Jessica Falconer

Chief Executive Officer

I trained and worked in law before spending fifteen years building and running an IT managed services company. Druid Lab is the outcome of that path — a place where new ideas get built and tested, shaped by years of translating between engineers and end users. Most technology fails not for technical reasons but for human ones, so that's the seat I take at Druid Lab, sitting between the geeks and the people, making sure what gets built actually gets used.

Outside of work, I've got two wonderful teenage sons and two misbehaving labradoodles — or maybe it's the other way around.

Tell us about the work.

One conversation is usually enough to know whether we can help.
